April 13, 2017-On Count I Barton was sentenced to serve five years in Missouri Dept of Corrections. Count II- Barton was sentenced to serve four years in Missouri Dept of Corrections. Count III: Barton was sentenced to serve one year in St. Clair Co. Jail. The sentences are to be served concurrent with each other and any other sentence Barton may have.

Additional Information

The charges stem from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation Dec. 10 when a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 13 near Osceola in reference to a careless and imprudent driver.  During the investigation it was determined Barton’s driver’s license was revoked and he was in possession a glass pipe with white residue. The pipe field tested positive for methamphetamine.
