News Release for June 2-9, 2014

St. Clair County Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies made two warrant arrests and took two reports regarding property damage at the Brush Creek Access, Osceola, during the week of June 2-9. He noted several arrest warrants were issued in various cases and urged those with any information concerning ongoing investigations or those wanted on warrants to contact the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line, 417-646-5832, or email to tips@scsomo.org.

Property damage reported at Brush Creek Access

On June 7, a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to the Brush Creek Access, Osceola, in reference to property damage. Friends of Brush Creek representatives Peggy Raymond and James Terry reported damage to the door of a small storage shed located in the grass area east of the boat ramp.

On June 3, a deputy took a report from Terry who stated he found ruts from a vehicle’s tires in the grass and dirt on the property. The damage was in the northwest corner of the parking area and also near the entrance to the access area. Photographs were taken at the scene and a request for prosecution was signed. The investigation is ongoing.
