News Release for June 29-July 6, 2014

St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to several calls for service during the week of June 29- July 6. Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies made several arrests and took reports of trespassing, stealing and burglary.

Trespassing report taken at Upps Resort

On July 5, a St. Clair County deputy took a report of trespassing from John Jambrosic Jr. on NE 32 Private Road, Osceola. Jambrosic reported a neighbor has been trespassing and littering on his property. A request for prosecution was signed and the investigation is ongoing.

Weed eater stolen on NE 1399 Road

On July 4, a St. Clair County deputy took a report of a stolen weed eater on NE 1399 Private Road, Osceola. David Masser reported a Poland weed eater was stolen from his garage. A request for prosecution was signed and the investigation is ongoing.

DWI arrest

Marcial Solis-Lara

On July 3, Marcial Solis-Lara, 39, Schell City, was arrested after a traffic stop by St. Clair County deputies on A Hwy near NW 1001 Road, Appleton City. Solis-Lara was booked into the St. Clair County Jail for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Bond was set at $500 cash or surety and a court date of August 1 was given. Solis-Lara was also arrested on a Pettis County warrant for failing to appear in court on a driving without a license charge. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety and a court date of July 16 was given.

Burglary on ZZ Highway

On July 3, a St. Clair County deputy took a burglary report on NE ZZ Highway, Osceola. Mike Beachner reported receiving a telephone call from a neighbor in reference to a female being inside a house on his property without permission. When the female was confronted by the neighbor, she identified herself and explained she was there trying to retrieve some of her belongings. The neighbor did not allow the female to take any of the property inside the residence. Beachner noted he was not at the property at the time and when he returned the female was gone. Damage to three windows was reported. A request for prosecution was signed and a suspect was identified. The investigation is ongoing.

 

Warrant arrests

Christina Yeager

On July 3, a St. Clair County deputy arrested Christina Yeager, 39, Carterville, on a misdemeanor warrant for passing a bad check-less than $500. Bond was set at $500 cash only. The charge stems from an incident in August 2005. An arrest warrant was issued in March 2006.

 

Daniel Cutler

On June 30, a St. Clair County deputy arrested Daniel Cutler, 49, Lowry City, for failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of stealing. Bond is set at $250 cash only and a court date Aug. 1 was given.

 

Clay McNary

On June 30, a St. Clair County deputy arrested Clay McNary, 25, Monett, on a felony probation violation warrant on original charge of attempted burglary-second degree. Bond was set at $2,000 cash only and a court date of Aug. 1 was given.

 

On June 30, a St. Clair County deputy arrested Lance Hill, 35, Springfield, on an Osceola Police Department warrant failing to appear in court on two misdemeanor traffic offenses. Bond is set at $365 cash only and a court date of Aug. 8 was given.

Felony arrest warrant issued for Edwin Lyons

On July 1, a St. Clair County felony arrest warrant was issued for Edwin Lyons, 37, Osceola, for a probation violation on an original charge of possessing a controlled substance. Bond is set at $2,500 cash only.
