Deputies take reports of property damage

Property damage in Appleton City

    On Sept. 5 a St. Clair County deputy took a report on South Locust Street, Appleton City, in reference to property damage. Jessica Dunnington reported three of her four tires on her vehicle were flat. She also reported that someone put a large dent on the back door of her vehicle. A suspect was named and a request for prosecution was signed.

Property damage to a telephone line

    On Sept. 4, a St. Clair County deputy took a report from a Century Link employee in reference to property damage to a telephone line south of the Do It Best hardware store, Osceola. The Century Link employee reported someone climbed two poles and cut the guide wire and started to take it off of the telephone line. It was noted an estimate of the damage will be calculated and reported back to the sheriff’s office.

 Property damage in Twin Oaks Harbor

    On Sept. 4, a St. Clair County deputy took a report from a representative from Sac Osage Electric Cooperative in reference to property damage at Twin Oaks Harbor, Lowry City.  The representative stated they were out earlier the same day  to hook up a service and noticed the tag on the meter box was missing. When the box was opened, it was noticed the meter lugs were burned out and melted to the base. It was noted an estimate of the damage will be calculated and reported back to the sheriff’s office.
