Deputies make warrant arrests and take report of stolen boat

Warrant arrests

     On Oct. 13, Vicki Gilmore, 37, Appleton City, was arrested in Henry County on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class C felony of possessing a controlled substance. The warrant was issued on Oct. 7. The charge stems from a drug investigation on Oct. 1 at Gilmore and her boyfriend, Joshua Foley’s, residence on West First Street, Appleton City. St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputies and officers from the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force located methamphetamine, Hydrocodone, and drug paraphernalia in the residence. On Oct. 7, an arrest warrant was also obtained for Foley, 31, Montrose, charging him with a class C felony of possessing a controlled substance. On Oct. 8, Foley was arrested in Henry County on the warrant. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety in each case.

Samuel Downs

     On Oct. 10, Samuel Downs, 55, Sedalia, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony of non-support, total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments due under an order of support. The warrant was issued on Oct. 1 and bond is set at $500 cash only. Downs was also arrested on a felony warrant from Kansas charging him with passing a bad check. Bond on this charge was set at $5,000 cash or surety.

Camille Prentice

     On Oct. 10, Camille Prentice, 25, Kansas City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on a class C felony charge of possessing a controlled substance. The warrant was issued on Aug. 4 and bond is set at $5,000 cash only. The charge stems from an incident on May 8, 2013.

Boat stolen

     On Oct.13, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to SW 764 Road, El Dorado Springs, in reference to a boat being stolen from a residence. Dennis Hallford reported a10 foot aluminum flat bottom boat missing from his residence. The boat’s value was estimated at $300. The investigation is ongoing.
