Be safe during the upcoming holiday

Sheriff Keeler and the staff at the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office would like to sincerely wish everyone a safe and happy New Year. The sheriff reminds citizens to be safe and responsible as they ring in 2015. He urges those planning on drinking alcohol, to make arrangements and/or designate a sober driver before the party begins.

“If someone you know is drinking, do not let that person get behind the wheel. The roadway is no place for a driver who is impaired,” said Keeler. “I want to thank the citizens of the county for their support and assistance in making 2014 a great year. Please continue to help us by reporting criminal/suspicious activity and reporting any crime tips you may have.”
