Jan. 20, 2017- Guilty plea to all counts. On count I Smithy received a $100 fine. On counts II and III Smith was sentenced to serve 180 days in St. Clair County Jail with the execution of sentence suspended. Smith was placed on unsupervised probation for two years and ordered to serve two days shock detention in St. Clair County Jail. Smith was ordered to pay all costs and $444.00 in restitution direct to the prosecuting attorney.

The charges stems from an incident on Feb. 3 when a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle she was a passenger in on NW 1501 Road, Appleton City. During the investigation a breath test indicated a positive presence of alcohol on Smith’s breath. During the investigation Smith was taken into custody and placed in the front passenger seat of the patrol vehicle. Throughout the incident, Smith continuously kicked the dash and banged her head on the window causing damage to a GPS unit mount and the power outlet on the center console. Total damage was estimated at which is valued at $694.
