Class A felony robbery-first degree
April 3, 2017-Amended information filed charging Count I as a class B felony of robbery-second degree.
Guilty plea to both counts.
The charge stems from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation on April 1 regarding an armed robbery that occurred in the morning hours at Casey’s General Store, Appleton City. The warrant was issued on April 10 and bond is set at $75,000 cash only. During the investigation it was learned two male subjects walked into the store and one pointed a handgun at the clerk and told the clerk to give him the money from the register. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
